About Us

We are a husband-and-wife team, joined by our two kids, creating handcrafted wooden outdoor furniture. Our journey began with making a single toddler picnic table—which sold quickly—and inspired us to start Stronghold Workshop Ltd.

Today, we offer a range of our own designs and love bringing custom requests to life, working closely with customers to create pieces that suit their space and vision. Every item is built with care, using durable materials and thoughtful craftsmanship to stand up to New Zealand outdoor conditions.

Being based in Waipa means we can deliver all throughout the Waikato, BOP and Auckland Areas. Anything outside of this we would need to assess other options.

As a small, family-run business, we also deliver to almost everywhere possible—and genuinely enjoy the adventure of getting our furniture to its new home.
