FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What timber do you use, and is it suitable for outdoor use?
We use H3.2 treated pine sourced from renewable forests. This timber is specifically treated to withstand outdoor conditions and is protected against decay, fungi, and borer. You may notice a green tint on some pieces, which is a natural result of the treatment process and will fade to a silvery grey over time when exposed to the elements. We recommend staining within the first year to significantly extend the lifespan and appearance of your furniture.
Do you offer custom sizing or designs?
Yes, absolutely. We’re happy to work with you on custom sizing and designs. We can arrange a site visit to view your space and recommend options, or you can send us drawings or details of what you’re looking for. Custom projects are something we genuinely enjoy, as they allow us to create a piece that’s truly made for you.
Can we pay on collection or delivery?
To confirm your order, we require a 50% deposit, which covers materials and build costs. The remaining balance is due on or before delivery or collection.
Do you offer kit-set options?
Yes, we can offer kit-set options on selected products. Availability depends on the design, so please get in touch with us to discuss whether a kit-set option is suitable for your chosen product.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we offer a delivery service. Delivery areas and conditions can be found on our Delivery & Returns page. If you’re unsure whether we deliver to your location, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to confirm.
What are your lead times?
Our lead times vary depending on product availability, current workload, and the specific product ordered. As all items are made to order, some designs naturally take longer to build than others. Estimated lead times will be discussed and confirmed at the time of ordering.
